Singapore, November 3, 2023 – Crunchyroll, the ultimate home for anime worldwide, announced today that it will be a sponsor and promotional partner of the much anticipated fan event Anime Festival Asia, held in Singapore from November 24-26, 2023. It’s one of Crunchyroll’s first sponsorships in Southeast Asia as the brand looks to have a deeper connection with anime fans and viewers in the region.
Attendees of the event can look forward to several activations from Crunchyroll during Anime Festival Asia, including:
● The JUJUTSU KAISEN Experience. Those that revel in cursed energy may enter The JUJUTSU KAISEN Experience, where they will find themselves immersed in expansive moments based on the hit dark fantasy series.
● Presence at the AKIBA Stage. Anime, and its characters, stories and content are at the center of Crunchyroll. As AKIBA Stage main sponsors, fans will be able to hear firsthand all these amazing things about anime streaming and beyond - like events, films, games, merchandise and more.
● SACRA Music Festival. Music is in the DNA of anime, and Crunchyroll will be there to rock out as the main sponsor of the festival on November 26. Since the launch of music on the service, fans are connecting anime with music each and every day. Fans attending the SACRA Music Festival will also be given Crunchyroll merchandise to enjoy alongside the music.
“As a leading destination for anime, Crunchyroll is thrilled to be on the ground with anime fans in Southeast Asia through our sponsorship at Anime Festival Asia,” said Markus Gerdemann, Crunchyroll’s Senior Vice President of Marketing. “Crunchyroll knows that fans in this part of the world have a unique relationship with anime, and
